Privacy notice
Last updated · 5 July 2026Evincio Ltd ("Evincio", "we") is the data controller for this website, evinc.io. We build record-keeping tools for separated parents in the UK. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and your rights over it. Privacy is a founding principle of this product, and we hold ourselves to that from the very first email address.
What we collect, and why
Your email address — only if you join the early access waitlist. We use it to confirm your subscription (you must click a confirmation link before you're added), tell you when Evincio launches, and send occasional related updates. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from future sends.
Basic technical data — our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request data in server logs to serve the site securely and defend it against attacks. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell data — this site has no advertising or analytics scripts of our own.
Who processes it for us
- Kit (Kit, Inc., USA) — runs our email waitlist. Your email address is stored on Kit's systems. Transfers to the USA are safeguarded under Kit's data processing terms, including standard contractual clauses.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) — hosts and serves this website and provides security services, processing technical request data at edge locations including the UK and EU.
- Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's servers, which involves your browser sending a standard font request (including your IP address) to Google.
We share personal data with no one else, and we never sell it.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until the waitlist is wound down after launch. Unconfirmed signups (where the confirmation link is never clicked) are not added to the list. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for short, standard periods.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, take it elsewhere (portability), and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] — we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
We set no marketing or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes (such as bot protection).
Children
This website and waitlist are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and the Evincio product itself is designed to record children by first name only, under their parent's account.
Changes and contact
If this notice changes materially, we'll note it here and, where appropriate, email the waitlist. Questions to [email protected].
